Summary
As a Lead for the Claims Unit at Gainwell Technologies, you will be part of an innovative company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities.
You will be responsible for evaluating current claims processes to look for efficiencies to continuously achieve account goals and outcomes.
You will be responsible for answering team questions related to claims processing, updating related processing Your work directly supports the Account Delivery Manager ADM , Regional Leader, and internal business partners in achieving or exceeding contractual obligations and company goals and objectives.

When joining Gainwell, you will :
- Supporting claims staff in executing claims processing activities.
- Identify and manage existing and emerging risks from business activities and assist in the implementation of mitigation strategies to improve performance.
- Establish and effectively lead routines regularly, utilizing tools and reporting that will assist the unit leader in driving team performance;
- Provide ongoing assistance to staff as needed to perform their duties.
- Effectively cultivate positive working relationships with account leaders, clients, business partners and co-workers to proactively identify opportunities to improve the delivery of claims services.
- Consistently, engage in positive and professional working relationships with account leaders, co-workers and our client.
What we're looking for
- A self-motivated, talented individual with 2 or more years of healthcare claims processing experience.
- Knowledge of claims and claims processing business processes and experience with varying service objectives and technical solutions is preferred.
- Demonstrated strategic initiative implementation and execution, specifically with operating policies and procedures and work process improvements in an claims area.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite products and hardware and software applications to manage claims activities and back-office operations (Verint, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Strong written and oral communication and positive interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, customers, and clients.

The pay range for this position is $56,300.00 - $80,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
