Responsible for the fiscal, operational and personnel management of the Laboratory Service departments. Develops budgets and business plans for the respective areas.
Contributes to the vision, mission, strategic plan of the organization, and is accountable for the standards of care and practice in the areas where Laboratory Personnel practice.
In addition, the Director possesses knowledge of Joint Commission, AOA, Florida Department of Health guidelines, CAP, rules and regulations of WRMC, and has a thorough understanding of sound management principles.
