The Oncology Precision Medicine Program Director is a full-time salaried position with a base salary and attractive bonus potential, comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, company paid short-term, long-term disability, mental wellness program, learning platforms, holidays, generous PTO and more.

This is a remote position covering the US market.

Position Summary :

The National Program Director (NPD) is responsible for the performance standards for the field-based team of Precision Medicine Liaisons (PML) and Manager (s).

In addition to successfully leading, coaching, and developing this team, the NPD will ensure all metrics and financial measurements are achieved / overachieved.

The NPD manages various aspects of the employees employment experience including hiring, performance management, client management, and leadership to remove all barriers for the successful achievement of desired results.

The NPD will partner with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Project Management IT, Compliance and Senior Leadership team members.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Execute and deliver Amplity and client program goals.
  • Accountable for achieving / overachieving annual business objectives
  • Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies to achieve client goals
  • Hire, develop, manage, lead a team of PMLs and Manager (s)
  • Translate program requirements, based on the executed Statement of Work, into operational tasks for successful execution of contractual deliverables.
  • Communicate team objectives in ways that promote teamwork and create a strong sense of shared goals among team members.
  • Monitor and manage training needs of the PMLs, engaging client training department / Program Director when applicable.
  • Conduct field rides and deliver timely and constructive feedback on quality and content of their calls as per expectations set by the client, using approved Field Coaching Report forms.
  • Monitor PMLs productivity / metrics, workload and outputs while ensuring compliance with policies and processes and addressing issues through corrective action process as they arise.
  • Continuously assess PMLs performance as it pertains to project progress, results and timelines and create and deliver individual development plans and performance appraisals according to Amplity Health performance management policies and standards.
  • Create a team-oriented (with Amplity Health employees and Client employees), productive and positive work environment by developing and mentoring PMLs through individual and team meetings.
  • Provide on-going coaching to ensure that PMLs possess the most up-to-date knowledge on project information.
  • Monitor employee compliance with all company policies and procedures and engage / work with Amplity Health Compliance to resolve issues and follow up with disciplinary action when needed.
  • Ensure the PML team fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity Health Policies, Code of Conduct, terms, and conditions prescribed in the Sample Administration Agreements, PDMA Guidelines, and all privacy and data guidelines and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Attend National and / or local conventions when applicable.
  • Regularly communicate with Client on program related matters affecting Client (engaging Amplity Health field leadership and Project Management
  • Monitor project status / changes and develop solutions to address arising issues by engaging Project Management and Field Leadership on issues that may impact revenue, Client expectations or perception of the client and their products.
  • Work with Finance, Leadership and Project Management with tracking profitability and effectiveness of project
  • Assist team with utilization of all technology requirements : CRM use, expense and OSIM reporting, activity reports, sales reports, and other reports as needed.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Oncology experience required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the oncology diagnostic and pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in a specialty pharma sales oncology or pathology, diagnostic sales in a leadership position
  • Management experience as a second line leader preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Experience with diagnostic product launch desired
  • Pathology Diagnostic experience advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required
  • Residence near a major airport desired
  • Ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing oncology talent; manage turnover and vacancy process.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude, working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
