About the role
As a GIS Mapping Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our data processes. You will be responsible for managing data pipelines, performing quality assurance tasks, and annotating data for new products.
Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and success of our AI-driven products. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to apply their technical skills in a dynamic environment.
What you'll do
- Annotate various types of imagery and lidar data for the development of AI products
- Develop and oversee quality assurance tasks for the release and maintenance of data products
- Use GIS to modify and analyze geospatial data
- Use custom programs to drive data through processing pipelines
- Identify and troubleshoot pipeline errors, or escalate to the appropriate team member
Qualifications
- Experience performing QA / QC on imagery and geospatial data
- Experience annotating imagery and / or lidar data
- Experience with GIS software
- Basic to intermediate experience with Python
- Basic understanding of physical infrastructure such as roads
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Passionate about technology and innovation
Pay : $25 - $28 an hour
