Senior Finance Analyst
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary : The Senior Finance Analyst will provide analytical & financial planning support and is responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing data to drive insights to increase profits.
The role will perform detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including revenue and profitability analysis, develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast business performance, and analyze customer data to identify trends and factors contributing to churn.
This role will prepare the quarterly and annual revenue budgets.
Essential Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting : Perform detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including revenue and profitability analysis.
- Forecasting : Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast business performance, incorporating various scenarios and sensitivity analyses.
- Customer Churn Analysis : Analyze customer data to identify trends and factors contributing to churn and develop strategies to improve customer retention.
- Budgeting & Planning : Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual revenue budgets.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather relevant data and insights for analysis.
- Strategic Initiatives : Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing or Engineering; Master’s Degree a plus
- A minimum of 7 years in an analytical role in either Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Business
- Advanced excel skills including pivot tables, sensitivity analysis, financial models, lookup functions, complicated formulas, importing / exporting data and creating and editing macros
- General PC and MS Office applications
