We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Web (C#) Developer in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. The role involves the development of web-based applications that streamline business processes across the organization.
This position is integral to our operations, requiring a professional with proficiency in a range of programming languages and development tools.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and design computer programs that automate specific business processes
- Create applications that support all aspects of our manufacturing operations
- Actively communicate and document application requirements with internal and external customers
- Prepare flow charts and write application instructions and procedures for users
- Debug and document programs to ensure their efficient operation
- Assist other developers with the design and development of business applications when necessary
- Utilize a range of development tools including Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
- Employ various programming languages such as C#, JavaScript Libraries (Vue, Angular, JQuery), HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, Python, Powershell, and .NET Framework
- Work with CSS / JavaScript Frameworks such as Vuetify, AXIOS, Vuex Store, NPM
- Manage databases including MS SQL Server and TSQL
- Utilize project management tools like YouTrack, GitLab (SVN), Git
- Work with website / cloud services including AWS, Laravel Forge, and WordPress
- Utilize other tools such as Signal R, Crystal Reports, and Bartender Label Making Software
- Proficiency in C Sharp Programming (C#)
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC Framework
- Familiarity with .NET and .NET Framework
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, and jQuery
- Solid understanding of HTML
- Proficiency in MVC Framework
- Experience with API - Application Programming Interface
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle : from business / systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve the issue
- Strong attention to detail.
