The Marketing Analyst designs promotional programs for production and marketing activities to promote the organization and its products.

Analyzes customer requirements and market data, develops messaging architecture and competitive positioning, specifies vehicles / projects, secures resources, communicates project development and drives creative development processes.

Works with outside vendors and agencies for design and execution of advertising campaigns, trade show exhibitions, mail campaigns and seminars.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Leads the design and implementation of the marketing and communication efforts to describe and promote the company and its products including graphics, product collateral, logos, or other promotional materials.
  • Works with marketing and sales teams to develop and drive the overall marketing strategy that aligns with customer needs and industry state.
  • Creates, edits, and delivers effective marketing content and collateral to multiple communication channels (websites, press releases, social media, e-news, blogs, online news items, etc.

ensuring it is consistent and supportive of the overall marketing strategy, aligned with our corporate brand identity, and accounts for our customers’ needs.

  • Collaborates with internal (production, sales, graphic designers) and external customers (outside vendors and agencies) regarding ways to reach current and prospective customer bases, continuously improve outreach and adapt to changing industry trends.
  • Responsible for regular tracking of the department costs and reporting from social media platforms and mass emails.
  • Assists in managing internal and external company branding standards. Ensures consistency in messaging and branding across all communication efforts.
  • Creates and manages organization-wide communications calendars. Responsible for managing activities, coordinating the flow of information and disseminating per plan / strategy.
  • Creates, edits and manages the company blog, ensuring they are working with internal and external resources to deliver original and educational content that aligns with our overall business and marketing strategy.
  • Manages and maintains the company social media presence, including creating and scheduling new posts.
  • Manages and maintains the company email marketing efforts, including creating and scheduling emails, formatting customer lists, and adding new customers to our target lists.
  • Updates company websites with new marketing material and any changes in content on a regular basis.
  • Assists with tradeshow management and event planning, attends tradeshows as needed.
  • Addresses and resolves any problems that may arise with promotional content or distribution of materials.
  • Keep abreast of new marketing communication strategies and trends and make recommendations for continuous improvements for the company’s overall marketing strategy as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English / journalism, or a related communications field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Two to four years of marketing, communications, media or public relations experience
  • Knowledge and experience in contemporary marketing, communications and promotions practices
  • Project management skills and strong planning, organizational and administrative skills to be able to work independent effectively
  • Excellent literacy, writing, editing and proofing skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative working style with an ability to work within a team in a hands-on capacity to achieve individual, team and organizational goals
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Proficient in Pardot
  • Attention to detail and creativity
  • Ability to effectively manage several projects at once, meet deadlines and ensure quality

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :

There is a minimal risk of injury. Work hours are generally hours a week during normal business hours. May require some additional hours as needed.
