Job Summary
We are seeking a Corporate Fine Dining Sous Chef, for the executive team of a midtown Manhattan company . Do you have a strong attention to detail, keep a meticulous kitchen, and mentoring?

Sous Chef Responsibilities :
- Manage the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Assist in innovative daily menu planning that feature high quality, seasonal ingredients, and accommodate special requests
- Planning and handling food preparation, per the Executive Chef’s direction, at highest quality in a timely, efficient manner.
- Properly manage all food deliveries by adhering to the FIFO method, ensuring minimal food waste and spoilage.
- Maintain a seamless kitchen, menu planning, purchasing, receiving, and inventory control
Sous Chef Qualifications :
- 2-3+ year of experience in a fine dining or corporate dining environment
- Strong comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced business environment
- Must have valid NYC Certificate in Food Protection
