Job Summary / Key Responsibilities :
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for setting up receiving export windows and cutoffs for assigned US Port Calls prior to vessel arrival.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures a fluid and efficient receiving of cargo at the terminal, avoiding :
- Opening the export windows and receiving cargo too early
- Opening the export windows too late, to make sure the cargo is loaded on board without any issues ( issues with documentation, missing cut offs etc.)
- Uses MSC USA proprietary IT system to retrieve, record and analyze information.
- Escalates unique or complex issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary.
- Provides feedback regarding current corporate practices and metrics in order to support process efficiencies.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications & Key Competencies :
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Experience analyzing data and trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel, PowerBI and other reporting tools
- Basic knowledge of supply chain environment (ocean maritime industry preferred)

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Maritime Degree (preferred)
- Experience in shipping, supply chain, transportation
PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Languages other than English
- Experience in International Environment is a plus
