This position is located in the Health Information Management Services Department at the Veterans Home of California West Los Angeles.

Working Conditions

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

Special Requirements

Successful completion of live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.

Vaccination :

  • In accordance with current California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Orders and / or Department of Social Serivces (DSS) PINs, workers in various health care settings, including those who work at Veterans Homes, must be vaccinated against COVID-19, including the booster vaccine, or submit a declination form.
  • If selected for hire, you may provide proof of vaccination to the hiring supervisor or designee during the pre-employment process.

Vaccination information will not affect hiring selections, however, start dates will not be negotiated until proof of vaccination or exemption requirements are submitted timely and approved.
