- The job of Registered Nurse Educator was established for the purpose / s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as an educator with specific responsibility for supervising adult students within the classroom and other assigned clinical areas;
- developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines;
- collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and / or classroom issues;
and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' regarding instructional program and student progress.Essential functions include, but are not limited to : * Administers curriculum based nursing instruction program and assessments, etc.
for the purpose of evaluating student competency levels.* Assesses student progress towards objectives, expectations, and / or goals for the purpose of providing feedback to students, and administration.
- Collaborates with administrators, instructional staff, other clinical personnel, and a variety of community resources for the purpose of improving the overall quality of program and student outcomes.
- Collect analyze and interpret data for the purpose of improving program, clinical facilities and accrediting agencies.* Communicate with students regarding progress for the purpose of communicating expectations;
student's achievements; developing methods for improvement and / or reinforcing classroom goals.* Manages students in a variety of educational environments (e.
g. classroom, clinicals, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe, positive, and effective learning environment.* Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Education Required : Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.Certification Required : Current Pennsylvania RN License requiredExperience Required : Job related experience required.
