Knowledge of basic techniques of minor building repairs
Ability to operate cleaning equipment, lift heavy equipment, and properly handle toxic cleaning supplies

Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Help with scheduling and training custodians.
- Plan, oversee, and participate in all custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Monitor time cards of all custodial employees in the school.
- Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from warehouse.
- Strive constantly to promote the safety, health, and comfort of the students and employees.
- Be responsible for the general fire safety and security of the building.
- Perform minor and emergency repairs and maintenance as necessary.
- Keep building and premises, including sidewalks and driveways, neat and clean.
- Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are open and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
- Participate in district energy management and IPM programs.
- Participate in district’s Standard Reunification Protocol as directed by the District’s Incident Commander.
- Be available for after-hours demands.
