Job Details
The Sr. Estimator will generate detailed cost analysis and scope of work estimates using historical data, contractor quotes, and site surveys.
The Estimator will provide clients and stakeholders with thorough explanations of pricing and cost details based on gathered data and supported with further estimates of projected maintenance costs and expected product lifetime.
Our ideal candidate has extensive experience as a commercial roofing estimator with a proven track record of producing high-volume estimate quotas, accurately and on time.
Job Responsibilities :
Generate detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including new construction, replacement & restoration / coatings.
Works closely with the Sales Dept & Project Managers from pre-bid to close-out.
Create cost comparisons with historical data of similar projects.
Solicit competitive cost estimates from subcontractors and vendors.
Rapid take-off and quantification of project details to meet bid deadlines.
Meet high volume bid quotas each week for new construction & re-roofing.
Form solid relationships with and follow up on bids to update status.
Job Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years experience as a full-time commercial roofing estimator.
Understand current building code requirements for commercial roof assemblies.
Knowledge of contract relationships, subcontracting, and vendor relationships
Ability to read & understand blueprints, specifications & bid documents.
Strong computer proficiency and ability to adapt quickly to new software.
Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
Bonus Skills & Certifications :
Shop Drawing experience using AutoCAD / Revit or similar CAD software
OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card
Bilingual (Including English)
