Key Responsibilities
- Be able to run, maneuver, navigate heavy equipment
- Be able to adjust wheels, levers, pedals to operate equipment
- Experience with running Grader, Dozer, Mini X, Excavator, Skid Steer and Gannon's
- Grades or redistributes earth, aggregates, or materials for the construction of structures, highways, and roads
- Reads and interprets survey markers and stakes to meet set standards
- Perform pre and post operation inspection of equipment
- Uses proper techniques to secure equipment when in transport and tarp all loads
- Maintain fluid levels and grease all points as necessary and keep equipment clean from debris
- Completes daily inspection report and turns it in at end of shift
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications (Experience, Skills, Education) :
- Excavate, dig, level, and finish grade
- maneuver small confined workspace safely
- Use of Trimble of GPS software
- Trenching, backfilling, rigging, and hoisting
- Knowledge of depth, grade, and finish
Requirements
- Knowledge of equipment capabilities and limitations
- Provide certificate or proof of training on equipment
- 5 years of experience is required
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
- Must have own transportation to various work sites within the state of Arizona
- Steel boots are required
- Strictly adhering to safety requirements and procedures
- Able to work well with others
- Ability to work night and weekends if necessary
