Key Responsibilities

  • Be able to run, maneuver, navigate heavy equipment
  • Be able to adjust wheels, levers, pedals to operate equipment
  • Experience with running Grader, Dozer, Mini X, Excavator, Skid Steer and Gannon's
  • Grades or redistributes earth, aggregates, or materials for the construction of structures, highways, and roads
  • Reads and interprets survey markers and stakes to meet set standards
  • Perform pre and post operation inspection of equipment
  • Uses proper techniques to secure equipment when in transport and tarp all loads
  • Maintain fluid levels and grease all points as necessary and keep equipment clean from debris
  • Completes daily inspection report and turns it in at end of shift
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications (Experience, Skills, Education) :

  • Excavate, dig, level, and finish grade
  • maneuver small confined workspace safely
  • Use of Trimble of GPS software
  • Trenching, backfilling, rigging, and hoisting
  • Knowledge of depth, grade, and finish

Requirements

  • Knowledge of equipment capabilities and limitations
  • Provide certificate or proof of training on equipment
  • 5 years of experience is required
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
  • Must have own transportation to various work sites within the state of Arizona
  • Steel boots are required
  • Strictly adhering to safety requirements and procedures
  • Able to work well with others
  • Ability to work night and weekends if necessary
