Job Description :
Non-Standard Coordinator :
The candidate will drive the Non-Standard Request processes for Global Payments Solutions (GPS). Role requires partnering globally with Sales, Contract Management, Product, Servicing / Fulfillment and Risk partners.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze impacts of exceptions, identify risk types / severity and anticipate questions that stakeholders may have.
The candidate should have the ability to challenge and influence client teams, stakeholders and business partners at all levels in the organization, and portray excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and risk mitigation mind-set.
The right candidate must have general GPS product knowledge and understand the different risk types (Credit, Operational, Legal, Compliance, Liquidity).
Candidate will be responsible to determine escalation and approvers based on the identified risks and their classification in accordance to policy, decision grids and procedures.
Ensure approvals are captured and recorded in the system of record.
Treasury Special Actions Team :
Responsible for advising client teams when their clients become financially challenged; making recommendations to reduce credit limits for their treasury services or move to prefunding.
Guide client teams through Bankruptcy process and steps to ensure compliance with court documents.
Contribute / lead projects providing risk guidance with examples including regulatory requirements, audit issues, policy / procedures review and product development / expansion.
Required Skills :
Expertise in Global Payments Solutions :
- 7+ years experience in treasury / payments / transaction banking with strong knowledge of Global Payments Solutions products / services
- Credit background or equivalent experience
- Self-starter, motivated and reliable; ability to work well and seamlessly within a team without a continuous high level of guidance
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and WebEx
Critical thinking / Organizational skills :
- Strong risk mindset and able to debate, escalate issues and concerns
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong project management skills; attention to detail; ability to drive projects to conclusion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders at once, prioritize workflow and deliver results under pressure and time constraints
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize daily tasks with project work as well as ad hoc and unplanned urgent requests
Communication Skills :
- Proven verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Ability to synthesis information and summarize key themes and drive to logical outcomes while constantly challenging the status quo
- Able to develop and maintain good working relationships
Desired Skills :
- Work experience in Credit / Risk, Treasury Sales, Product and / or Servicing
- Knowledge of business contracts
- Technology savvy, intellectually curious
- Proven ability to develop Senior Executive presentations and strong communication skills
