Financial Analyst

Davis Hill Development (DHD) is hiring a Financial Analyst. This is a new position that’s been created due to recent company growth.

This position will report to the Finance Manager and will be supporting the financial operations and accounting functions within the organization.

What you’ll do :

• Support cash management and reconciliation pulling monthly reports including general ledger, accounts payable, etc.
• Assist the Finance Manager with the financing closing processes.
• Execute the existing invoicing operational process from initial submission to approval
• Analyze and communicate the financial position of Asset Companies
• Compile data across internal teams for monthly and annual budgeting
• Assist with monthly reporting required for loan compliance with external banking partners
• Work cross-functionally across various departments with key stakeholders to compile reporting on existing solar assets.
• Assist with updating and documenting workflow processes and changes
• Support transactions with tax equity / debt financing partners.
• Provide responses to ad-hoc requests and adjusting priority of existing requests as needed based on the business goals
• Understand key business processes and support efforts to streamline and standardize by introducing automation and / or eliminating redundancies

Preferred qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
• Highly skilled with data and reporting / analysis
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on tight deadlines with competing priorities
• Bonus points : Experience working in business consulting, professional services, or the solar industry
