GP Strategies is looking for a Learning Consultant to work on the deployment of off the shelf learning programs and solutions with one of our clients.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day support of the client relationship including a high level of stakeholder management and offering consultative advice on how best to meet their needs.
This role involves managing multiple learning requests at a time with a diverse range of stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Contribute to interactions with stakeholders that identify business requirements to ensure that learning requirements are suitably aligned to business needs.
The needs analysis for this role is focused on alignment with off the shelf learning solutions, not solutioning for design and development projects.
- Use appropriate challenge to test business requirements to ensure that requirements are suitably aligned to the learning function.
- Support relationships at all levels within the business and HR to advise on the most appropriate learning interventions and methodologies, together with advice on how these can be best procured.
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners to provide and / or create custom development solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Support feedback and design discussions with the client and / or vendor partner(s) for program adjustments.
- Grow trusted relationships with client Learning, HR, and wider business stakeholders to understand the learning needs and relevant business issues.
Ensure learning solutions support the aims, objectives, values, and culture of the business.
Ensure that Learning Requests are responded to within appropriate timelines and are fully completed to agreed contracting.
Ensure all programs are delivered effectively, within budget, to contract, and on schedule.
- Create course budgets and Statements of Work to define expected costs and customer billing data.
- Following contracting, manage the day-to-day relationship between client, internal working teams, and vendors and escalate any issues.
- Collaborate with Learning Administrators to ensure quality services are delivered to the customer and Learning Administrators have the resources they need.
- Resolve problems that impact the execution of learning solutions in coordination with Learning Administration and Siemens stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that appropriate quality assurance processes are in place, and that the delivered learning achieves the expected business objectives
- Solicit stakeholder feedback for custom and closed team sessions. Action escalated program feedback from stakeholders and survey data to ensure program and supplier effectiveness.
- Attend and run meetings with project teams to ensure open and clear communication levels are maintained.
- Keep abreast of current learning industry thinking and bring innovation, improvement, and new ideas to solutions.
- Apply professional learning principles, concepts, theories, and technologies to a wide range of adult learning challenges to ensure program applicability, effectiveness, and scalability.
Basic Requirements :
- 3+ years’ experience applying professional and industry learning principles to learning solutions
- 3+ years’ experience in performing learning needs analysis
- Broad knowledge of learning interventions
- Strong networking, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continual improvement
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate with all levels within and outside of the organization
- Well-rounded business and financial acumen
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Preferred Requirements :
- Working knowledge of organizational development interventions
- Understanding of organizational dynamics
- Understanding of informal and formal blended learning solution design, including e-learning, VILT, ILT and Modern Learner
- Project management experience
- Global team experience
