A health services organization in New York is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team as their new Assistant Director - Ambulatory Surgical.
Reporting directly to the Administrative Perioperative Director, the Assistant Director (RN) will be responsible and accountable for the clinical and management functions of the Ambulatory Surgical Center.
About the Opportunity :
- Schedule : Monday to Friday
- Hours : 8am to 4 : 30pm
- Specialty : Ambulatory Surgery
Responsibilities :
The Assistant Director (RN) - Ambulatory Surgical will :
- Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of staff with establishing an environment where both staff and patients are able to reach their full potential
- Facilitate and coordinate the daily operating room schedule and staffing assignments
- Delegate the responsibility for equipment and instrumentation for efficient case turnover
- Assure the readiness of the Operating Rooms for the next day’s surgeries as well as the development of leadership and preceptor staff
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong background in Orthopedic Surgery
- Previous experience in a Leadership role
