The Amazon Publisher Monetization Deal team is responsible for defining and delivering a collection of ad products that enable advertisers to buy media across an expanding network of publishers and devices.

As our business grows, we are launching new capabilities, inventory supply, and measurement technologies, which span multiple teams with Amazon.

Our team is looking for a Sr. Tech Business Developer to help us manage packaging and the growth in deals based buying across Amazon publishers.

  • This individual will be responsible for growing revenue for deals based buying by scaling existing customer channels and developing new channels;
  • leading strategic business planning including influencing of sales and strategic account planning; supplying business inputs into general marketing to achieve objectives and deliver against business strategy;

and defining the mix of products / packages to offer to market, within a year and across years, including pricing strategies in partnership with Sales and Finance teams.

Key job responsibilities

  • Construct a segment focused business plan focused on winning new customers and growing investment from existing customers
  • Generating and implementing big ideas for packaging media across APM to drive business improvements, innovation, and scale
  • Construct business goals based on market segment and customer opportunities
  • Achieve business targets by working across sales, marketing, product, program and engineering to deliver against customer needs
  • Lead day-to-day operational aspects of the business, including gathering / addressing VOC and business improvement initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders to grow and optimize the business
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evolve products / services based on feedback from the market segment
  • Define and analyze business metrics that drive acquisition, retention, and wallet growth

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience working in ad tech

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • 3+ years working in ad tech
