Who we are looking for :

• You love hospitality and have a passion for sales and customer service. You are outgoing, a self-motivator, very organized, and love structure.
• You are dependable, punctual, enthusiastic, and can quickly adapt and jump in whatever capacity is needed. You work well with others and enjoy being a part of a team.

You must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time and have time management.

• You have at least 3 years of recent sales experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant or lifestyle / luxury hotel.
• You have at least 1 year of experience in hospitality operations.
• You have experience leading and motivating a team of 3-6 team members.
• You have experience creating and managing budgets for large-scale events.
• You have excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• You have experience in all or some of the following programs : Tripleseat, Delphi, Salesforce, Open Table, Seven Rooms, Social Tables, Aloha and DocShop.
• Wine knowledge is a plus!
• You are comfortable standing for long periods of time and can lift up to 25 pounds.
• You are willing to have a flexible schedule and have the ability to work some weekends and holidays.
• We are hiring immediately and would like this person to be able to start as soon as possible.

As a Director of Events, you will :

• Co-lead the Special Events team to drive annual sales goals for the Twelve Thirty Club.
• Build guest loyalty and a book of repeat business.
• Conduct site inspections / planning meetings and be able to speak in detail about our company history, venue details, food and beverage offerings, and experience we offer for events.
• Create proposals, estimates, contracts, SEO’s, and diagrams for events through Tripleseat software.
• Work directly with event clients to plan all food, beverage, and logistical details for their events.
• Set up accurate billing for each event and process deposits.
• Review final billing for and process payment for any balances owed.
• Have an understanding of how an event should flow and what food and beverage offerings work best for your clients and the venue.
• Work directly with and maintain relationships with internal and outside vendors related to events.
• Lead / attend weekly SEO meetings.
• Communicate with all departments of The Twelve Thirty Club to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Professionally deal with situations and people while utilizing conflict resolution skills.
