Pay : $55,000-$65,000 / annually

The Compliance Department effectively ensures that Cayuga Centers is in full compliance on an organizational, program, and contract level with all funding and licensing entities in order to meet the needs of our large, diverse, geographical-spread human services agency.
Compliance is composed of the following teams :

NYC Programs Compliance
Administration for Children's Services (ACS) Enhanced Family Foster Care (EFFC)
Regional Programs Compliance
Home and Community-Based Treatment & Support (HCBTS)
Preventative Case Planning Services (PCPS)
Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC)
Youth and Family Resource Center (YFRC)
Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (I / DD)
Florida Programs Compliance
Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC)
Home and Community-Based Treatment & Support (HCBTS)
Each team works to help their assigned program to both know and to meet all applicable regulations and standards and to improve to meet such when they are not met.
We aim to always be audit ready.
This position will work directly with the Florida programs.
Keep us Audit Ready through the following
Remain up-to-date on ever-changing oversight agencies policy, procedure and regulations including Florida State, and County Agencies (Miami Dade, Treasure Coast, Broward) Departments of Children and Families (DCF) Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), Administration for Children and Family (ACF), Council on Accreditation (COA), Medicaid and other relevant municipal, state and federal agencies
Partner with your team leader, program leaders and staff, to develop a deep understanding of assigned program operations.
Identify all compliance requirements applicable to these programs.
Interpret and convey requirements for the program leaders and staff, and assist program partners to know, understand, and own the compliance requirements expected of them.
In coordination with your team leader, constructively demonstrate and provide guidance in file compliance to program partners, assisting them in keeping current with any and all noted compliance changes.
Conduct timely scheduled reviews assigned program's files to determine their standard in meeting these requirements. Give empowering feedback to program partners.
Partner with programs to develop detailed and time bound plans to address lapses in compliance and to help the program implement this plan and maintain their improvements.
Partner with the Quality and Effectiveness Department to assist us in being a true learning organization and create improvement through partnership.
In coordination with your team leader (or supervisor), establish and maintain processes for managing assigned tasks, setting quality and performance standards and assessing potential completion risks.
Proactively communicate all risks, challenges and potential delays to meeting deadlines to your team leader (or supervisor).
Comply with rules and regulations governing access to Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.
Establish a regular presence in Cayuga Centers' offices, in-person and / or via electronic communications. Travel regularly to assigned programs may be required depending on the assigned program.
In addition, occasional travel to Cayuga Centers' other locations.
Understand that Cayuga Centers is a dynamic organization that must be continuously attentive and responsive to the communities we serve.
Members of the Compliance Department will be expected to participate in professional development opportunities that enhance one's skills and mentor teammates, and be prepared, during times of organizational need, to assume additional, short-term responsibilities that may fall outside of one's primary role or duties.

Schedule : Exempt
Regular hours entail 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm or 8 : 00am - 4 : 00pm, Monday - Friday, with flexibility
Must be flexible to meet program needs
Travel outside of work hours may be required
Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, compliance or related field
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills that reflect a commitment to collaboration and service.
Demonstrated experience in providing strong customer service.
Able to interpret and apply policy and procedures
Experienced in self-directed management of projects
Ability to stay focused and accomplish work in an environment with shifting priorities and multiple competing deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong technical aptitude, analytical, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills; flexible and adaptable team player.
Ability to work additional hours and travel as needed.
Familiarity with city, county, state and federal oversight agencies such as DCF, AHCA, ACF, COA, Medicaid and / or other relevant municipal, state and federal regulatory agencies a plus.
Willingness and desire to continuously learn and grow
Bilingual-English / Spanish preferred.
