Engagement Business Analyst
Job Summary
Works with business groups to solve moderately complex problems using technology. Analyzes complex business needs and evaluates routine business processes to recommend process enhancements.
Assists in helping more senior business analysts with more complex projects.
Essential Functions
Manage the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid's CRM system (Slate) and other technologies needed in coordination with the event planning.
This includes the collaboration and planning of all pre-and post-event communications.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the events with a focus on increasing attendance and the impact on prospective students.
- Work with members of the recruitment team to review for approval all virtual and off-campus event proposals to ensure alignment with existing and best practices regarding target audience, customer experience, communications, logistics, and budget considerations.
- Maintain an ongoing commitment to grow knowledge of technology especially as it relates to the use of Slate forms, events, and portals in order to maximize use of technology and enhance the visitor experience.
- Prepare an annual event report utilizing feedback from visit and event attendees, including registration and post-event survey data.
Strategically use this data to conduct gratitude activities and inform campus stakeholders to event outcomes in addition to planned future improvements to the campus visitor and event experience.
- Track effectiveness of recruitment efforts across event type (marquee, group visit, daily visit, off campus) and provide timely, frequent stakeholder and leadership updates on planning and outcomes as it relates to visits and events for future student recruitment.
- Partner with systems to build and update Slate CRM-hosted applications and forms, and identify and assist with resolving related processing and technology problems.
- Assist with implementing automated communication plans related to on-campus and recruitment evets, including population segmentation, personalization, testing, and deployment.
- R ecommend Slate enhancements for improving on-campus and off-campus engagement and recruitment processes.
- Ensure the sustainability of applications and systems by updating documentation to reflect changes and ensure availability to team members and other stakeholders involved in future development or modifications in the Office of Admissions.
Physical Effort
Mobility with regard to possible travel within the United States. May be required to carry a box of material (up to 50 lbs.
from car and / or from building to building or between floors.
