WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist Executive Director of Gaming Operations in providing strategic leadership for Table Games operations and development / implementation of departmental strategies, ensuring alignment with brand service strategy and initiatives.
  • Plan, implement and oversee all table games operations to include, but not limited to : day-to-day operations, collaboration with other departments to improve the overall guest experience, satisfaction and increased player activity.
  • Mitigate risk by assessing the integrity of gaming equipment and programs, cash control and signatory control procedures in collaboration with the Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA).
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and direct table games management staff to ensure that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives;

develop and implement staffing plans that provide appropriate labor to meet guest experience and operational expectations.

  • Assess and improve existing initiatives; devise new strategies to increase revenue while collaborating with executive leadership to ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals.
  • Research, assess and analyze gaming industry standards / trends; game popularities and usage rates; new products; regulatory updates, etc.

provide recommendations to ensure MCR maintains a competitive advantage.

  • Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and standards; and internal controls.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of MCR's hospitality / guest experience standards; participate in performance management programs.
  • Formulate and operate within annual operating budget, and capital budget to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results; encourage a results-oriented culture, host regular team member meetings to ensure accurate, effective and consistent delivery of guest experience standards.
  • Manage and analyze key business performance metrics by compiling evaluation and statistical reports including, but not limited to, budget, revenue per unit, labor, hold %, win per unit, hands dealt, etc.
  • Provides input and resolution concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention in order to maintain the highest level of operation.
  • Conducts investigations into the resolution of variances to ensure compliance with company policies and maintaining team member integrity levels.
  • Responsible for verifying and ensuring payouts of large jackpots and other awards are properly executed.
  • Resolve player disputes that are not resolved by the Table Games Shift Manager.
  • Manage comprehensive casino credit procedures as it relates to table games; assist and motivate credit control team to achieve collection targets and debt management relationship.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop promotional, special events and marketing plans to enhance guest experience.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, practices and procedures to include, but not limited to;

Guest Service / Hospitality Standards, Human Resources Processes / Procedures, Coaching / Corrective Action, Budgeting and Purchasing.

  • Promote and participate in mentoring, leadership, and tribal development programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, or related field required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Seven (7) years of table games operations management experience with at least three (3) years involving management of table game credit procedures.
  • Tribal Casino experience a plus!
  • Ability to obtain a Class IIIA gaming license.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Availability Ability to work different shifts primarily Monday Friday dayshift. Some holidays, weekends, and nights may be required to support a 24 / 7 operation.
  • Physical Ability to maneuver in all areas of the casino, ascent / descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and / or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks.

Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift / move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.

  • Environment Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
