The In-building Construction Manager (IBCM) is responsible for all technical aspects of the telecommunications equipment deployment and ASP management at assigned job / venues.
TOOLS & RESOURCES
Strong knowledge of :
- iBwave software
- Anritsu experience
- ODTR fiber testing experience.
- Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Databases (such as Site Tracker)
- Local data management tools
- Close-out Package Checklist
- Industry best practices / standards
- EHS standards, and relevant regulatory issues
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3+ years of related work / industry experience.
- degree preferred.
- Basic technology or related trade course work completion. Specifically, in-building RAN systems (DOT, PDAS, ODAS)
- Experience with providing design solutions and working with RF to optimize the solution.
- Ability to determine site feasibility, as well as site design consulting as needed.
- Direct knowledge of working in both large and small venues.
- Experience in managing and directing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc. (In-building,
- Backhaul, Maintenance Work).
- Knowledge of and ability to enforce customer construction and quality standards.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting practices and techniques.
- Understanding of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, landlord negotiations, leasing laws, jurisdictional requirements, and environmental compliance.
