Come join us as our Director of Factoring. In this role you will be responsible for the development of the Bank's Factoring division and for directing the sales, operations and administration of the division once established.

This role will be that of a working manager- leaders are expected to maintain their own pipeline and achieve personal sales goals.

Primary Functions :

Development- Develop and implement a plan for the establishment of the Factoring division. Identify and satisfy staffing needs.

Develop, implement and manage a program to support factoring clients on their transition to becoming bankable businesses.

Sales- Build, coach, develop and motivate a sales team. Identify new business opportunities through business development efforts.

Manage the department's opportunity pipeline and ensure that sales goals are met by all sales staff. Cross-sell all applicable financial products.

Engage and expand established networks of COI referral sources locally and nationally. Meet personal sales goals and maintain a personal pipeline.

Operations / Administration- Identify technology, systems and platforms required to maintain optimized workflow for the division.

Develop and implement policies to govern the division in accordance with Climate First Bancorp policies and standards. Provide training and guidance to division staff.

Manage the division's internal and external reporting (i.e. pipeline and management reports).

Secondary Functions :

  • Contribute to achieving all relevant mission centric goals.
  • Adopt and practice a commitment to social, economic, environmental, and racial justice.
  • Possess the initiative to obtain education related to sustainability practices
  • Demonstrate and maintain an understanding of and follow established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations, cognizant of transactions, inquiries that appear suspicious, obtaining reasonable and verifiable explanations, notifying the Compliance Officer when necessary;

completion of all web-based compliance training; resolution of all issues concerning BSA report reviews of suspicious activity and or cash transactions.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting strongly preferred. Significant experience (10+ years) may be considered as equivalent.
  • Factoring Generalist with proven leadership experience in factoring and asset-based lending.
  • Experience with building new divisions highly desired.
  • Highly educated in financial products and services, applicable regulations and laws.
  • Strong overall business acumen and ability to interpret financial reports and legal documents. Knowledge of unique industries and markets in conjunction with a broad knowledge of business banking products and services required.
  • Masterful at relationship building and business development with strong influencing and decision-making skills.
  • Superior ability to communicate with a variety of external and internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly efficient with superior problem-solving skills and the ability to organize and prioritize within a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands : In the performance of respective tasks and duties, all Climate First Bank employees are expected to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

While performing duties, employees are required to sit, talk, hear, lift up to 20 lbs., and may be required to work evenings and / or weekends, attend remote meetings and / or to travel.
