Job Description : Tax Compliance Manager

Responsibilities and expectations for this role include :
Manages the tax compliance function, focusing primarily on tax returns and
notices
- Subject matter expert and firm wide resource for tax knowledge
- Coach and mentor members of the tax department
- Prepare and review tax returns and projections
- Develop and continually improve tax compliance processes
- Responsible for training staff and interns on tax return preparation process
- Manage due dates and client expectations for tax compliance services
- Capable of trouble shooting compliance and planning issues to proactively manage issues
with the IRS and state tax agencies

whatever way is needed to take care of clients.

We'd love to see a candidate with :
- An active CPA or EA license
- Experience with cloud based tax and accounting software, ideally QuickBooks and UltraTax
- 8-10 years in a tax practice or financial services firm
Our compensation package includes a base salary (commensurate with experience), profit sharing,
retirement plan, health / dental / vision insurance and continuing education.
Salary range 110-150
