Summary :

The Restoration Supervisor performs restoration processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment as well as an assigned service vehicle.

By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the restoration technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Primary Responsibilities :

1. Safety

a. Recognize and communicate safety hazards.

b. Displays understanding of PPE and utilizes required items when necessary and / or as

directed.

c. Adheres to and oversees work site safety protocols, risk management, and franchise

safety guidelines at all times.

d. Attends and engages in team safety meetings.

e. Maintains assigned PPE kit.

2. Work Habits

a. Attendance and punctuality consistently maintained.

b. Uses work time appropriately for job responsibilities.

c. Follows accurate procedure for requesting time off and notifying management of time

off.

d. Manages stress, conflict, and frustration in a constructive manner (i.e. seeks

assistance / direction, when necessary, remains calm and professional in stressful

situations).

e. Maintains well-organized physical and digital records, documentation, and workspace.

f. Maintain an organized warehouse space. Oversee facility and grounds maintenance, as

assigned.

3. Work Site Activities

a. Maintains communication of expectations and order of operations of planned

mitigation / remediation activities with Restoration Supervisors and other Technicians.

b. Prepares rooms / areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each

project.

c. Performs mitigation / remediation services as directed.

d. Performs end-of-day / end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and

orderly appearance.

4. Job Knowledge

a. Demonstrate understanding of concepts, software, techniques, etc. necessary to

accomplish job duties.

b. Develop restoration expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.

c. Follows policies / protocols in carrying out job responsibilities.

d. Responds correctly to inquiries; consults with others / uses resources as appropriate.

e. SERVPRO U assignments completed.

5. Customer Service

a. Facilitates a positive customer and client experience.

b. Shows respect to customer and their property.

6. Asset Management

a. Organizes equipment and tools in warehouse / grounds.

b. Manages assets by protecting and using equipment, tools, and materials properly.

c. Performs cleaning of vehicles, tools, and equipment.

d. Performs vehicle maintenance as directed.

e. Maintains a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.

f. Loads vehicle for daily activities, maintaining inventory of adequate supplies, tools, and

equipment based on FNOL, work order information, and / or as directed.

g. Assists with periodic inventory of warehouse and vehicles.

7. Job Documentation

a. Accurate photographs and documentation of work sites.

b. Composes a daily comprehensive job diary to include all services performed.

c. Verify all required information is entered into appropriate software application.

8. Technical Skills for Technicians (Water / Fire)

a. Performs removal of building materials as required.

b. Executes cleaning processes and proper usage of products.

c. Places and uses equipment properly.

d. Erects containment and other site engineering controls.

9. Technical Skills for Technicians (Contents)

a. Executes cleaning processes and proper usage of products.

b. Photograph and inventory all contents, as directed.

c. Executes deodorization processes.

d. Protects, packs, and transports contents.

e. Maintains warehouse organization.

10. Teamwork

a. Is pleasant, cooperative, and gets along well with others in the workplace.

b. Contributes to the achievement of franchise and team goals.

c. Ability to appropriately handle conflict with others in the workplace.

d. Takes initiative to be a part of the team and build strong working relationships with

others.

e. Is proactive in helping the team fully assist the customer.

Education and Experience Requirements :

High school diploma / GED.

IICRC certifications required.

Minimum 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Software and technology proficiency.

Strong work ethic

Physical and Work Environment Requirements :

Regularly lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, working in tight spaces (i.

e. crawl spaces, attics), repetitive pushing / pulling / lifting / carrying objects, working with and around chemicals, and working overhead.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as heat, noxious odors, etc.

The noise level in the work environment and jobsites may be loud. The employee will be required to occasionally wear a respirator for their safety.

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements :

This is a full-time position working 8 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m., Monday Friday. The daily schedule may be shortened based on workload.

This position regularly requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including evening and weekend work. In addition, this role requires participation in the 24 hour On-call rotation schedule.

Travel is required and is primarily local. However, out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
