The Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a crucial role in driving organizational growth and addressing HR challenges.

This role is responsible for providing data-driven insights and solutions to enhance HR services, improve employee retention, and foster a strong organizational culture that aligns with business objectives.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Strategic HR Management

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Design and implement HR policies, processes, and initiatives to meet compliance and strategic needs.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support organizational transformations and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Analyze organizational trends using data from HRIS or talent management systems.

Employee Relations and Retention

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee retention, focusing on job clarity, value propositions, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring high-quality support and services.
  • Enhance communication, coordination, and compliance across all HR functions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Manage compensation analysis and program design to ensure equity, competitiveness, and fairness.
  • Oversee HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave management, and performance management.
  • Administer or oversee programs related to productivity, recognition, and employee morale.

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to source candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Talent Management and Succession Planning

  • Identify staffing needs and implement best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Lead succession planning efforts and develop internal talent for future leadership roles.
  • Facilitate professional development and training for HR staff.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and update policies as needed.
  • Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies, and communicate relevant updates to management.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget.

Organizational Culture

  • Integrate cultural initiatives into hiring, performance evaluations, and recognition programs.
  • Foster a positive and cohesive organizational culture that supports business objectives and enhances employee engagement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Masters degree preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in human resource management required; previous experience in a law firm or similar environment is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
