We're a fast growing startup providing text marketing & customer engagement tools to restaurants. Our founders have participated in a $21M exit and been through the Y Combinator S22 batch (YC is the world’s top startup accelerator, funding companies such as Reddit, AirBnB, Stripe, Podium, Weave, & DoorDash).
Boostly is funded by investors such as Gordon Food Service, Trestle Partners, Goodwater Capital, and others.
Not a remote position. This is an in-person role in our Lehi, Utah office.
What will you do?
- Be a member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO
- Develop and execute strategies that enable Boostly to hit NRR & retention targets
- Proactively identify and address customer and company needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth
- Hire, manage, coach, & develop team(s) of Managers, Onboarding / Activation Managers, and Customer Success Managers
- Work closely with all revenue leaders / teams to ensure revenue growth and cross departmental success
- Define, manage, and monitor department & individual KPI’s
- Participate in customer escalation calls & customer interviews, including the gathering and analysis of customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Advocate for the customer within the organization, ensuring their voice is heard in product development and strategic planning as well as anticipating their future needs
- Bring an entrepreneurial spirit and attitude to contribute to overall company success
What qualities are we looking for?
- 8+ years as a Customer Success Department Head (Director / VP+) at venture-backed startups
- Experienced with serving an SMB customer base, restaurant industry experience a plus
- Scaled companies from $5M to $20M+, preferably multiple times
- Excellent recruiter, with the capacity to bring key individual contributors from your network to the Boostly team
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, optimism, willingness to fail, and a get things done attitude
- Proactive in taking ownership over projects and figuring things out
- Powerful and engaging leader with a track record or success
- Excited for the building phase
- Eager to develop your team
