Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is looking for a Communications Rep 4 to support the Joint Force Development Research and Analysis for Joint Staff J7(JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Develop highly professional communication materials / products, including outlines and metrics, that drive decision-making, depict compelling arguments, contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

and clearly demonstrate the customer’s value proposition to internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate.

• Recommend approaches to achieve profile-raising (i.e., clearly demonstrating the customer’s value proposition to stakeholders) and internal communications objectives, considering messages, audiences, content, stakeholders, and other factors.
• Draft compelling content that engages external audiences, advances key strategic messages, articulates progress / risks and ultimate value with project deliveries, differentiates communications, and demonstrates a sophisticated use of language.
• Recommend ideas, improvements, and best practices to continually improve the customer’s internal and external communications and engagement
• Work closely, collaboratively and communicate effectively with all members of the project team including government and contractors.
• Additional duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications

10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;

or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
