Position Overview :
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will report to the Director of Human Resources and support the Human Resource Business Partners in ensuring smooth HR operations and essential administrative support, while managing employee records, from compliance to employee relations, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
This role will respond to HR-related inquiries and provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team. This role is heavily responsible for managing data requests, conducting audits for compliance, prepare presentation slides for meetings, support investigations, and more.

Responsibilities :
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team
- Answers front-line HR-related and benefits questions from employees and escalates complex questions and issues to the appropriate groups
- Address employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, vacation, retirement plans, and other HR-related topics.
- Manage and respond to data requests and conduct audit sessions to ensure compliance and accuracy in HR processes
- Prepare and update presentation slides for Leadership Team meetings, townhalls, and other significant events
- Provide investigation support by collecting data and taking detailed notes during inquiries
- Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries, utilizing appropriate reporting tools
- Recommend innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of programs
- Conduct non-sensitive exit interviews and assist with offboarding procedures to ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.
- Oversee the tracking and follow-up of Learning & Development enrollments
- Track and report mid-year and end-of-year review completions
- Offer support for maternity / parental leave processes, ensuring employees are well-informed and assisted throughout their leave
- Calculate pay and manage vacation calculators for retirees, providing accurate and timely information
- Support contingent worker audits to maintain compliance with company policies and regulations
- Organize and provide logistical support for team offsite meetings and away days
- Assist with Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), Oral / Written Reminders, and Decision Making Leave (DML) draft support
- Aid in the preparation of severance / termination business cases, ensuring all documentation is thorough and compliant
- Support the End of Year calibration sessions, facilitating fair and consistent employee evaluations
Experience and Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Ability to create compelling presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint, showcasing excellent design and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, employment laws, and HR policies
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of Human Capital Management software, previous experience with Workday is a plus
