Our client, a well-respected Skilled Nursing Facility, in Terre Haute, is seeking a well-networked Marketing & Admissions Coordinator.
The Marketing / Admissions Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, directing and coordinating all aspects of marketing the facility including telephone contact, direct sales advertising, and community outreach.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements :
- Associates Degree in business / health care related field or two years experience in long-term care or other health care setting working with the elderly.
- Thorough knowledge of outside resources, long-term care regulations, pre-admission screening, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Admissions experience helpful.
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing and on the telephone effectively with both large and small groups in English.
- Skill in use of computer software including MS-Word.
- Must be able to generate a warm, friendly and caring manner on first impression.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
