There is potential for this to be a remote position. This position has a flexible start date and may begin as early as January 2025.

Who We Are :
Merrimack College’s School of Engineering and Computational Sciences is a hub of innovation and excellence in engineering and computational disciplines.
We currently offer ABET-accredited civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering undergraduate programs. Furthermore, we have computer engineering, computer science, and data science programs.
Our commitment to providing cutting-edge education is reflected in the new programs we launch in the coming years. In the academic year 2024-25, we will introduce construction management and information technology programs, followed by a program in electromechanical engineering in 2025-26.

Qualifications :
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field, or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with several years of software engineering industry experience, or ABD with completion expected within one year of hire.
All candidates are welcome, but those with expertise in software design, software engineering, databases, or systems architecture are preferred.
Demonstrated excellence or potential in teaching.
Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
