Job Summary :
As a Production Mechanic, the individual will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain packaging equipment in line with the production schedule.
Their expertise will be crucial in conducting line changeovers, maximizing efficiency, and promptly addressing any equipment issues.
This role plays a critical role in running the production and packaging operations. Experience with cameras, sensors, and electronic systems, as well as the ability to set up the machine, is essential.
Mechanical experience is a must.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine troubleshooting and repairs to ensure equipment operates smoothly.
- Conduct packaging line set-ups and changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Monitor packaging line performance during production, addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with team members and support preventive maintenance activities.
Requirements :
- Conduct electrical repairs using standard industry tools.
- Experience wiring 3-phase motors and verifying proper rotation.
- Skilled in replacing AC receptacles.
- Proficient in using a multimeter for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as a setup mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations.
- Familiarity with both mechanical and electrical control systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Proficient in English with comprehension skills for following instructions.
