Dillard's is seeking a procurement specialist that can help dive into today's ever-changing climate and wade through the supply chain to help our company source supplies.
This position is responsible for procuring supplies for the company at best value regarding quality and at a competitive rate.
This placement includes multiple projects and allows you to work closely with our own internal teams and the vendors we source through.
Analyzing and monitoring supplies that come and go through the system.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor requisitions and inventory levels
- Oversee purchase of materials and supplies
- Research and present information from internal and external sources of supplies
- Maintain spreadsheets (database on inventory and order amounts)
- Collaborate with various teams
- Maintain a strong network of suppliers
- Negotiates price, shipping, & delivery time
- Communicate with end users by phone and / or email to assist with any procurement issues
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Perform multiple task
- Keep accurate records
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Problem solving skills
