Our client, a manufacturer of insulated parts for aircraft, is seeking an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join their team.
As an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the quality assurance team.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay on task, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Elkhart, IN
Pay Range : $17.50 - $17.75 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Inspect fiberglass sheets to ensure they are free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- Identify and correct any missing or double stitches in the production process.
- Operate industrial sewing machines to repair and fix stitches as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the sewing machine to ensure smooth production.
- Perform hand stitching when necessary to ensure the quality of the final product.
What’s Needed?
- Previous experience operating a sewing machine (industrial or at-home experience is acceptable).
- Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues and make corrections.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Ability to pass a tape measure test for accuracy and precision.
