Our Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant - Gordon Ramsay - invites its guests to a feast for the senses to enjoy exquisite French cuisine in a poetic setting overlooking the Palace of Versailles Park.
Our restaurant is exclusively open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner.
We are looking for a M / F Sous Chef to join the fantastic kitchen team at our Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant - Gordon Ramsay.

Mission of the position
Assist in the management of kitchen operations including menu planning and costing, organizing special events, developing new dishes, maintaining food quality standards and in-depth knowledge of products.
Main goals
The work of the Sous Chef meets expectations when :
- Standard recipes are developed and written.
- The dishes and products are prepared.
- He ensures that the level of technical culinary skills is maintained.
- Effective working relationships with employees are established and maintained.
- The profitability and popularity of menu items are reviewed based on menu item sales figures, and changes are made where appropriate.
- All HACCP guidelines are followed and maintained.
Main tasks :
- Be able to work and manage the kitchen independently
- Manage kitchen stocks and orders
- Help organize special events and special food promotions.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets and current trends, and make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to kitchen operations accordingly.
- Maintain hygienic cooking and personal hygiene.
- Work with the supervisor and the Human Resources Director to ensure that staff performance in the department is productive and help plan future staffing needs.
- Assist in the analysis of kitchen staff training needs and ensure training programs are designed and implemented to meet needs.
- Approve leave after considering hotel occupancy.
- Work with the superior in the preparation and management of the department's budget.
- Demonstrate knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same.
- Be aware of the duty of concern and comply with workplace health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
- Take action to correct an unsafe situation and inform supervisors of potential hazards.
Required profile :
- Ability to work in a team,
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to adapt,
- You have experience in team management,
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene rules,
- Have already worked as a sous chef in a Michelin restaurant(s)
- Be a charismatic and passionate person
- You are motivated, creative and want to take on new challenges
- Have a perfect palate and awareness of taste
