Product Line Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Product Line Manager to lead a portfolio of our Curtiss Wright Telemetry Products in Newtown, PA!

Using your deep understanding of the aerospace flight test and monitoring technologies markets, and customers you will translate this knowledge into actional plans and initiatives.

The Product Line Manager will manage all aspects of $10-20M product portfolio, including customer interface and meetings, proposal support, product roadmap and new product definition, support CW strategic planning and generate estimates for future revenues, investments, and meet CW metrics for Return-On-Investment (ROI) and Return-On-Sales (ROS).

Your Challenge :

  • Grow the Telemetry Product line by an 8% CAGR in the next five (5) year period, while simultaneously meeting the company’s return-on-investment (ROI), return-on-sales (ROS), and operational income (OI) metrics
  • Work with business development, sales, marketing support, engineering, and external third parties to ensure bookings for products and customer-funded non-recurring-engineering (NRE) meet company’s targets to support product development and sustainment.

Also, ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met.

Define the product line vision and roadmaps to ensure the product line supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Seek and secure company’s Internal Research and Development (IRAD) funds through detailed market research and analysis of required investments and ROI, for a specified set of product features.

  • Develop product features and requirements definition for engineering, to ensure that the developed products meet market needs, time-to-market (TTM), and design-to-cost (DTC) metrics.
  • Develop marketing collateral as product datasheets, brochures, and use case white papers. Act as a thought leader for the Telemetry industry, by publishing and presenting at major telemetry conferences.
  • Collaborate with US domestic and international government, research, and commercial entities in standards development and implementation in CW telemetry products.
  • Oversee beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples. Conduct product demonstrations and training at customer sites and at major telemetry conferences.
  • Travel of up to 20% may be required.

What You Bring :

  • BS in Electrical (RF) Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • 10- 12 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Flight Test Instrumentation industry is strongly desired.
  • Candidate is a U.S Citizen must be able to obtain security clearance.

Preferred :

  • Operations (Pivotal) software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools desired.
  • TS / SCI-level clearance is desired.
