Senior AR Specialist

Vaco has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the Marietta area to fill a Senior AR Specialist position. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate receipt and recording of payments for goods and services.

This role involves posting receipts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining financial records in line with company policies.

Responsibilities :

• Send invoice reminders and communicate with customers to collect payments
• Post customer payments and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and deductions
• Manage collections by reviewing payment plans, history, and credit lines
• Generate and summarize financial reports on receivables
• Assist with month-end close and provide audit documentation
• Support additional projects as needed

Requirements :

• 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• High School Diploma or GED (college coursework in accounting preferred)
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and confidentiality
• Proficiency in MS Office and computerized accounting software
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory standards
• Excellent data entry, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
