Currently looking for a Sales Engineer (SE) to join our team. Become immersed in the technology sector and data center industry.
You will have the ability to provide a large range of data center environmental solutions to clients and create everlasting relationship including but not limited to :
a. Construction, Maintenance Service Contract, and Advisory
i. General Construction Services for Mission Critical Facilities
ii. Electrical utility low voltage building feeds
iii. UPS power systems and computer distribution circuits
iv. Electrical fundamentals
v. Generators, Automatic Transfer Switches and Parallel Systems
vi. Computer Room A / C (CRAC) Units
vii. Fire Protection Systems
viii. Critical Environment Monitoring and Water Detection Systems
ix. Critical System Testing and Commissioning.
Sales Engineer requires a combination of strong business acumen, high technical aptitude, solution selling, and teaming. SEs are innately curious, creative problem-solvers, possess deep empathy and are adept at conducting customer-centric discovery for the purpose of unlocking business value.
Work location to be a mix of Office and Jobsites with a primary jobsite area of Dade to Palm Beach County.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prospect and develop relationships with new and existing clients.
- Consult with clients to determine their needs and priorities.
- Perform preliminary engineering details for project pricing and proposal.
- Provide written proposals for construction, maintenance, and advisory services.
- Deliver oral presentations to support written proposals for potential projects.
- Source equipment, material, and subcontractors for construction projects.
- Coordinate and oversee work through utilization of administrative assistant, field personnel, and operations staff.
- Provide project management and schedule.
- Be a Project Lead during equipment rigging, commissioning, and major milestone days.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert and provide application engineering support for general and mechanical field technicians.
- Provide engineering analysis and advisory for the customer.
- Visit jobsite to review progress and strategize for future project needs.
- Prepare accurate customer billing.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- 1 year of technical sales experience.
- 1 year of work experience in construction / contracting services / project management
- Bachelors Degree; Engineering preferred
- Have knowledge of various aspects of construction (labor, materials, equipment, methods, etc.) as well as an understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn customized computer software.
- HVAC System Background an advantage.
- Problem Solving ability to creatively address problem issues to point of resolution; these would include application, delivery, billing / collection issues as well as addressing job site issues
- Demonstrate and uphold all of Keystones core values, which are relationships, professionalism, results, continuous improvement, integrity and community.
- Valid driver's license.
- Can successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Physically able to work in the field and able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
