Position Overview

Responsible for the reporting and analysis activities for the Global Business Services (GBS) Finance team for Americas & Asia, which includes creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to track and communicate all of our key Finance performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Strong focus on analyzing and interpreting results in an effort to drive standardization, process efficiency, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

This position will be responsible for supporting all daily, weekly and monthly data analysis and reporting activities for the GBS Finance team, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing recommendations for process improvements.

  • Collect and analyze data from various ERP and Finance systems to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track Accounts Payable, Travel & Entertainment, Purchasing Card, Accounts Receivable, Customer & Vendor Master and Accounting key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.
  • Generate required population reports for external Audit & SOX requests.
  • Prepare month end Accounts Receivable reports for review and commentary by GBS OTC leadership team.
  • Develop monthly Cognos reports for Concur.
  • Support ad hoc data reporting and analysis requests as needed by the team.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely response to inquiries.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Information Systems
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to create pivots, graphs and charts and use of SQL
  • Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex data
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
  • Fluent in English, demonstrating a full professional proficiency.
  • Previous SAP and Cognos experience is highly desired.
