The Role :

As VP of Security, you will oversee daily operations and will be responsible for establishing and executing the security program to ensure that technology, applications, and supporting infrastructure are adequately protected.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders within the Litmos organization to efficiently increase resiliency and attain security goals, including :

What you'll do :

  • Develop and implement security, compliance, and risk management strategy and operating priorities, including consistently improving risk frameworks and methodologies.
  • Manage implementation of existing and new compliance requirements, and policy exceptions.
  • Analyze risk events to capture their impact and the risk they present to business operations until mitigated.
  • Develop program performance indicators and metrics pertaining to risk and compliance; report performance to leadership against established metrics.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to business and IT stakeholders to assess project risks and controls.
  • Develop / update third party risk assessments to ensure compliance to required standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditing entities and facilitate interactions with internal entities being audited.
  • Ensure adherence of risk policies with global SAP standards.
  • Develop and continuously enhance internal audit strategy.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on risk response action plans.
  • Manage and periodically review policies and procedures to ensure relevancy and alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Develop and present operational risk reports to leadership, including quantification of security risks to draw an informed decision towards determining expected financial loss exposure.
  • Stay abreast on emerging regulatory updates, technological trends, and changing threat landscape to inform new policies and standards.

What you Bring :

  • Master's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
  • 7-10 years' experience working in risk management and compliance functions.
  • Knowledge in Risk Management solutions, processes, and framework.
  • Knowledge in security related laws, regulations, strategies, processes, standards, and services.
  • Security Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GCFA, GCIH, GCIA, GNFA, GREM, GCCC, or Security+ are an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Desire to work in a team-driven and collaborative setting.
