Shuka is looking to bring in talented Line Cooks to our team!
We are an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Soho. Under the leadership of Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja, we strive to bring dynamic and vibrant flavors in a fun yet relaxed dining environment.
We focus on responsibly and locally sourced ingredients with a nod to seasonality. Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja brings an exciting and dynamic take on some of her favorite dishes inspired by her extensive travels.
We serve lunch, dinner and brunch.

Main Responsibilites
- Demonstrate mastery of classic cooking techniques with grill and saute experience
- Have at least one year of professional kitchen experience
- Have experience working in a high volume restaurant
- Work with a sense of urgency
- Be a team player
- Have an understanding of NY Department of Health protocols for food safety
- Possess strong communication skills
- Stay positive and calm under the pressure of an open kitchen environment
