St. Cecilia Catholic Church is a vibrant parish rooted in our Catholic tradition and located within the city limits of Cincinnati, Ohio.
After 46 years of service to St. Cecilia Parish, our director is retiring in January 2024. At this time we are seeking a Director of Sacred Music to fill this position.
The Director of Sacred Music will be part of a zealous staff leading people to holiness through worship, truth, and beauty.
The Director of Sacred Music is the organist as well as the choir director who is responsible for all aspects of the sacred music program including planning and providing music for weekend Masses, weekly school Masses, holy days, funerals, weddings, and other liturgical events.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in choral conducting, organ, and Catholic liturgy. A master's degree is preferred, but not required.
