Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst oversees financial analysis for at least one business unit or brand. Responsible for preparing and analyzing various P&Ls and business unit profitability.

Determines how analysis is setup, tracked and reported. This position interacts with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Product Development and other areas of Finance.

May supervise and coordinate the work of others.

Specific Responsibilities

• Oversee financial analysis for at least one business unit / brand. Tasks may vary based on the assigned area of responsibility.
• Compile and analyze financial information for assigned business unit or brand. Includes the development and analysis of budget / forecast P&Ls, SG&A expenses, business unit and customer level profitability, product P&Ls and promotional spend P&Ls.

Provides explanations to internal customers. May oversee the analysis and work of direct reports.

• Responsible for maintaining approved prices / economics and loading the approved pricing and discounts / allowances to Oracle.
• Complete month-end and year-end analyses / reports and ensure proper accruals for Dilutions, Advr, SG&A, and other liabilities are recorded on the B / S. Include B / S Recons.
• Complete ad hoc analysis and schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent years of related work experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead projects and team members
• Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills
• Working knowledge of Oracle and / or MicroStrategy preferred
• Strongly preferred Power BI experience*

Minimum Job Experience Required

3+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
