What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician :
Maintenance technicians are an important part of the Oaklawn team, keeping buildings and grounds safe and welcoming for staff, clients and visitors.
Primary responsibilities :
- Complete and respond to work orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain the facilities, grounds and equipment.
- Provide routine maintenance for Oaklawn vehicles, such as checking oil and maintaining exterior, etc.
- Provide routine grounds maintenance, such as trimming, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, snow removal, etc.
- Complete work and use equipment safely following proper procedures
- Use a computer as necessary to complete jobs
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend and use tools or controls
- Frequently required to lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements for a Maintenance Technician :
- High School Diploma / GED preferred;
- In lieu of a High School Diploma / GED, 1-3 years previous maintenance experience highly recommended.
- Must have a valid driver's license
