CARESTLHEALTH is seeking a full-time Revenue Manager to join our team!
The Revenue Manager performs multiple administrative and daily functions to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant revenue cycle processes to maximize reimbursement for comprehensive healthcare services.
The Revenue Manager ensures the maintenance of measurable revenue cycle outcomes and adherence to all regulatory and third-party standards by demonstrating a commitment to employee growth and development, the direction of staff work schedules and assignments, and overall team building.
Ensure organizational and human resource policies and procedures are adhered to and demonstrate the ability to lead staff and departmental projects.
Interact with internal and external representatives to enhance the clean claim rate. Identify training needs through competency testing.
Develop and coordinate training as needed. Participate in and make recommendations regarding the development and implementation strategies and processes related to billing activities while maintaining customer focus and regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

The Revenue Manager may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
- Oversees the daily operations of Dental & Medical Billing to include problem solving, providing leadership, maintaining departmental Standard Operating Procedures and producing reports to monitor efficiency / productivity
- Monitor team performance to ensure billing compliance, denial reduction, excellent customer service, and ensure the billing team is complying with all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, HIPAA, OSHA and other organizational guidelines
- Develop short-term and long-term strategies for Dental & Medical Billing to promote achieving department and organizational goals and creating workflows that reduce insurance denials
- Hire, train, monitor, coach and mentor the Billing Team
- Create a quality orientation program to effectively onboard new staff
- Develops and maintains departmental operational protocols and workflows
- Maintains current level of job-related skills by attending meetings and training sessions
- Responsible for annual staff evaluations, weekly 1 : 1 in order to promote professional development for the Billing Team
- Manage Billing Clerks while maintaining effective communication and effective interpersonal relationships with staff, administration, and physicians.
- Manage patient revenue processes, including claim submission, payment posting, rejections, and contracted billing firm operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Education :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Minimum of three years supervisory and / or management experience required.
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a clinical setting
- Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with ability to give direction, delegate duties, communicate effectively and respond to inquiries.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects.
Experience :
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a clinical environment
- Minimum 3 years supervisory
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Good computer skills including the use of database, word processing, and e-mail software
- Ability to understand and put into practice new directives in a short period of time
- Knowledge of Third Party, Medicare and Medicaid payers required
- Ability to perform accurate data collection and entry on clients
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
- Ability to read and interpret registration manuals and other relevant materials
- Ability to use investigative interviewing techniques and to relate to the public
- Ability to use initiative and be flexible
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Good organizational and math skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
- Ability to work a flexible hours which may include working weekends to provide adequate coverage
- Capable of communicating technical instructions and conducting training sessions

- Copy of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Copy of Bachelor's Degree or Official Transcripts
- Copy of Master's Degree or Official Transcripts if relevant
- Current Registration with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry
- Annual PPD or Chest X-Ray

- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
