You'll collaborate with our warehouse and production teams in Commerce City, Colorado, working a Monday through Thursday schedule from 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, giving you a three-day weekend!

POSITION OVERVIEW : The Production Operator II is responsible for the setup, breakdown, and quality control of designated stations along the filling lines.RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist with set-up and breakdown of equipment and inspection of mechanical parts in preparation for the manufacture of MicroCare Medical products.
• Set-up and operate capper, lot code printer, re-torque machine and filler.
• Assemble boxes in preparation for packing.
• Perform in-process quality control and visually inspect products that come from the line for defects.
• Package, label, lot and stack filled boxes and transport to skids for wrapping and transport.
• Maintain upkeep of line with daily trash and cardboard disposal.
• Provide support in other areas of manufacturing as needed.
• Utilize forklift to transport goods throughout warehouse.
• Train new hires and temporary staff as needed.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation of production equipment.
• Provide facility and production clean up as needed.
• Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participating in company safety trainings.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

• Able to identify lot and / or production numbers for consistency and accuracy

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of Production Packaging experience
• Ability to work well with others in a teamwork environment
• Must have basic math and technical skills- Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to read and write the English language; excellent communication skills
• Complete facility specific Operator Position training per the MicroCare Training and Development Matrix and perform any additional responsibilities per the Matrix.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Forklift Certification
• ERP system- Chempax

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS :

• Lifting required of up to 40lbs unassisted and over 40lbs with lifting aides.
• Continuous reaching / working overhead.
• Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carries items.
• Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations.
