Overview
We are a company of exceptional people who work with major consumer brands (CPG). Our Senior Directors take pride in our clients and customers and work diligently to increase the market share of the brands we represent.
Senior Directors serve as the primary contact to Acosta clients and customers and are responsible for the strategic development, creative development, and tactical execution of our fresh operations in clubs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Acosta clients and customers to maximize profitability.
- Manage, influence, and expand customer and client relationships.
- Develop strategies to address defined opportunities, scope, and manage solutions that have a significant impact on our customer’s success.
- Coordinate customer needs with the Director of Fresh Foods and initiatives with the team to ensure objectives are met.
- Develop and communicate category plans to address client priorities, opportunities, and expectations.
- Create goals that support strategic visions of the organization.
- Evaluate the Fresh Operations team performance based on established goals to ensure client and customer needs are met.
- Establish budgetary guidelines for the team and ensure targets are met.
- Review and approve program manuals and merchandising tools prior to deployment.
- Continually identify and communicate improvement opportunities.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of our customer’s and clients' strategies, selling programs, and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Retail. Fresh experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Ability to engage and influence teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with consistent follow-through and organization.
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Availability for non-traditional hours, including weekends.
- Driving on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing requires no DUI / DWI conviction in the past 36 months.
- Certification in Food Safety preferred.
