Summary
A cutting-edge, leading global publisher catering to those with a strong interest in engineering, technology, and science is seeking a Digital Ad Sales Manager who will oversee revenue from advertising, direct sales, and subscription business.
This candidate will also support business priorities through efficient processes and tools for ad sales monetization.
This person will also be in charge of ad strategy and operations, as well as managing monetization strategies and justifying business requirements with key indicators and ROI assumptions.
The candidate must also establish strong relationships with business partners.
Responsibilities :
- In charge of finding new ways to monetize the company’s content
- Work side by side with finance and sales to oversee quarterly revenue targets
- In charge of the programmatic team responsible for optimizing the CPMs and the final revenue
- In charge of the revenue and monetization strategy
- Oversee media planning and ad operations team supporting national sales
- Oversee continual process improvement across planning, ad ops, and ad technology
- Support sales team with annual, quarterly, monthly ComScore reporting
- Develop new ad products across all the platforms
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of programmatic and direct media sales at a publisher
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Media Planning + Ad Operations
- Understands digital advertising landscape
- Strong interest in AdTech
- Data analytics skills
- Knowledge of subscription models
- Experience in monetization and competitive trends in the digital industry
- Ability to operate calmly and smoothly with self-discipline
- Startup mindset
